The Wild Apart Photo Exhibition – Day 1

It was 6:30 p.m when all the guests had arrived and the stage was set for “The Wild Apart” photo exhibition to start. “Wild Apart” is a 4-day event (August 9, 10, 11, & 13) showcasing the photography of Bengal tigers in the wild throughout India taken by Sanjeev Siva. The exhibition started with a Lamp Lighting Ceremony by Shri Jayesh Ranjan (IT Secretary), Shri Suheim Sheikh ( Founder- The Yacht Club), Shri Arvind Chenji (President – Telangana Photographic Society), Shri Suresh Chitturi (Vice Chairman – International Egg Commission & MD Srinivas Farms).

The unveiling of the beautiful photos by Sanjeev Siva of these majestic jungle cats and the technically impeccable printing quality by “Imprima” on Archival Paper (that could last over 200 years) started soon after. Each photo had a story to tell and the onlookers were impressed with the first photograph being sold in the first few minutes.

Sanjeev Siva’s minimalist approach to photography created some beautiful masterpieces that could be collector’s items.

The evening became a platform for numerous conversations over the technicality of taking and printing each photo.  This exhibition was a complete treat for the eye.
